Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain looked in high spirits as he trained with England at St George’s Park on Thursday morning after completing a £35million from Arsenal to Liverpool.
The 24-year-old underwent a medical and agreed a five-year deal worth £120,000-a-week to join Jurgen Klopp’s side on Wednesday, with a picture of him smiling in the Liverpool home shirt appearing online soon after.
An official announcement from Liverpool is expected at some point before the 11pm deadline.

After an unsettled start to the season with Arsenal, Oxlade-Chamberlain cut a relaxed figure as he cracked a smile alongside his England team-mates ahead of Friday’s World Cup qualifier against Malta.
Oxlade-Chamberlain turned down the chance to link up with Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge, despite Arsenal agreeing a £35million deal with Chelsea earlier this week.
The Gunners also tried hard to keep Oxlade-Chamberlain away from their Premier League rivals with Arsene Wenger offering him a lucrative long-term contract worth £180,000-a-week.
However, the former Southampton starlet is determined to cut a career for himself as a central midfielder and accepted a deal worth £60,000-a-week less after Klopp gave him assurances over his future role.

He will hope to seal England’s place at next summer’s World Cup in upcoming qualifiers
Gareth Southgate’s men can take a significant step towards qualification for next year’s World Cup in Russia by taking six points in their upcoming games.
They are heavy favourites to beat Malta but then face fellow qualification rivals Slovakia in a crucial tie at Wembley next week.
England top their group with Slovakia sitting just two points behind while Slovenia are just one further back. At least one of those nations is set to fall further behind with the pair playing each other on Friday evening.
