Chelsea are keen on a deal for free agent Bacary Sagna.
Starsport have been told the Blues are looking at the ex-Manchester City man as a potential option on the right flank.
Antonio Conte wanted Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on-board to compete with Victor Moses for a starting spot.
But he’s turned down a move to the Blues to head to Liverpool instead, leaving Chelsea looking for a Plan B.
That could be Sagna, although Manchester United are keen on the right-back too.

Tottenham could hijack Chelsea’s move for Swansea striker Fernando Llorente.
Llorente has been tracked by the Blues since January.
They appeared close to sealing a £15m move for the Spanish striker, but Spurs are now sniffing around too.
Kristof Terreur of Belgian paper HLN wrote on Twitter: “Spurs are trying to hijack the Fernando Llorente-Chelsea deal.
“They have made an offer too.

Chelsea and Atletico Madrid are set to finally reach an agreement over Diego Costa.
After weeks of wrangling over the AWOL Blues hitman, his future was thrashed out at a high-level meeting between the clubs yesterday.
Atletico have proposed an initial fee of £40m with the rest in add-ons, with the only major stumbling block being how those are paid.
Costa is prepared to train in Madrid until January, when the Spanish club’s transfer ban is lifted and he can be registered.
