Mesothelioma is a type of cancer that is approximately always caused by previous exposure to asbestos. In this disease, malignant (cancerous) cells develop in the mesothelioma, a defensive layer that covers most of the body’s internal organs. Its most general location is the pleura (outer lining of the lungs and chest cavity), but it may also arise in the peritoneum (the lining of the abdominal cavity) or the pericardium (a sac that surrounds the heart).

The most common symbol seen for cancer is a pink ribbon. Patients suffering from Mesothelioma cancer or breast cancer are also associated with this symbol.

Mesothelioma Cancer

Most people who are victims of Mesothelioma have worked on the places where they breathe in asbestos elements, or have been exposed to asbestos dust and fiber, such as by washing the clothes of a family member who worked with asbestos, or by home overhaul using asbestos cement products. There is no association between Mesothelioma and smoking.

What is Cancer

Cancer is a complex group of over 100 dissimilar diseases. Cancer can affect just about every organ in the human body.

How Does Cancer Develop?

The organs in our body are made up of cells. Cells divide and multiply with body requirements. When cells carry on multiplying, produce a mass or growth of unnecessary cells which become a tumor.

These growths are considered either benign or malignant. Benign is considered non-cancerous and malignant is cancerous. Benign tumors rarely are life threatening and do not spread to other parts of the body. They can often be removed.

How Does Cancer increase to Other Parts of the Body?

The cells within malignant tumors have the aptitude to invade adjacent tissues and organs, thus scattering the disease. It is also possible for cancerous cells to break free from the tumor and go into the blood stream, and spreading the virus to other organs. This process of spreading is called metastasis.

When cancer has metastasized and has affected other parts of the body, the disease is still referred to the organ of origination. For instance, if cervical cancer spreads to the lungs, it is still called cervical cancer, not lung cancer.

Cancer treatments differ for different types of cancer. What may be efficient for prostate cancer, probably will not be for bladder cancer. Diagnosis of Mesothelioma will vary as well, depending on the organ affected.

Medication

A perfect treatment for Mesothelioma cancer has been just out of reach. Researchers and clinicians trust that current drugs could be used to treat cancer if only they were not so poisonous to normal tissues. It’s not possible to manage cancer medications in dosage high enough to eliminate every cancer cell in the body, because at such high doses, the side effects are fatal. All too often, the few remaining cancer cells spread to other locations in body, and kill the patient.

A Doctor has developed a technique through Mesothelioma Epidemiology for removal of all side effects of cancer medicines. Laboratory examination are even more successful than predicted, whereas clinical trials are about to begin. The first clinical trials will be with breast cancer patients who could not be treated by other remedies.

Cancer drugs have side effects because their action is not limited to cancer cells. The medicines kill any cell that are dividing quickly, particularly cells in the bone marrow and the gastrointestinal region. This harms normal tissue and leads to the familiar side effects of chemotherapy: “Destruction of marrow cells leads to reduction in the number of circulating white blood cells, and increased susceptibility to infections”. Damage to the lining of the stomach and intestine causes nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.

Efforts to diminish the effects of chemotherapy have focused on techniques of carrying medications entirely to cancer cells. Doctor’s investigation took the contrary approach: He looked for a method to selectively defend normal cells from spoiling by cancer dosage. For the majority cancer medications, there are antidotes which deactivate the toxic effects. What was required was to transport the antidote to normal cells, while leaving cancer cells unprotected. With this technique, high doses of medication can be administered, and only cancerous tissue will be destroyed. Doctor has succeeded in sending the antidote just to normal cells, while leaving cancer cells uncovered to the medicine. The antidotes are packaged in dendro-microscopes, made of bio-compatible material. Different practices have been developed to deliver these hemispheric rules only to normal cells needing protection. When the microspherules are injected into the bloodstream, they flow through the body until they arrive at the target cells; then they connect to the target cells which deliver the antidote. Once normal cells have been secured, cancer drugs can be managed in higher doses than has ever been possible. Huge tumors have been cured after only two injections in animals with one drug, and the animals remained healthy after receiving dosages that are usually deadly. As soon as clinical experiments are finished, the new technology will be accessible, offering new hope to millions of cancer patients every year.
