Snapchat is once again experiencing issues this morning with the popular selfie app not working for users who have taken to Twitter to complain of the new problems.
Snapchat fans have reported issues specifically with false notifications.
Independent website Down Detector has seen a massive spike in reports as of 7am this morning.
The outage tracker monitors social mentions around certain topics to detect outages across the world and Snapchat complaints with the app not working for the second time this week.
Out of those hit by issues, 66 per cent were having problems receiving snaps or refresh, another 16 per cent complained of the App not logging in or connecting to the server while a further 16 per cent had flagged problems sending snaps.
The Snapchat Support Twitter account has yet to post anything in relation to the latest problems, but Snapchat users have taken to Twitter today to voice their frustration at the latest outage.
One user tweeted: “@Snapchat something is wrong with Snapchat because all the sudden it’s broken and I’m not receiving snaps”.
While another posted: “@snapchatsupport my Snapchat keeps saying I’m receiving messages and people are typing but I’m getting nothing. I’m not the only one”.
And one wrote: “If Snapchat notifies me saying that people are typing, when the really aren’t one more time …”.
The Down Detector outage map shows the Snapchat issues affecting users in small parts of the UK and Europe (it’s still 7.30am though) and LARGE parts of the US.
