FITNESS guru Sophie Guidolin and Channel 7 television personality Liz Cantor have taken advantage of a red-hot Gold Coast market, making huge profits on the sale of their homes.

Ms Guidolin, a mother-of-four who has more than 700,0000 followers across Instagram and Facebook, put her Robina home on the market in November, 2017.

CoreLogic data revealed the house sold for $810,000 in January – Ms Guidolin, who only maintained the property, made $165,000 after she bought it in 2014 for $645,000.

The split-level house at 2 The Links overlooks Palmer Golf Course and features an open-plan kitchen, covered pool, intercom and cathedral ceilings.

“When I saw this property I fell in love with the pool area and the fact I could see the kids playing while I was in the kitchen cooking,” Ms Guidolin told the Bulletin when the property hit the market.

James Massey of Harcourts Coastal marketed the property and said Robina had experienced “significant growth” over the past three years.

“Robina’s median sale price is currently around the $695,000 mark and I feel we have more years of growth to come,” he said.

The big profits did not end there, with popular Channel 7 personality Liz Cantor making $229,000 when her Miami beach pad sold for $789,000, according to CoreLogic data.

Property records show Ms Cantor paid $560,000 for the property in 2014.

The double-storey duplex has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and high-vaulted ceilings.

It also includes an alfresco deck complete with built-in barbecue, fridge and outdoor kitchen space.

“It’s so hard to let go of a home, but hopefully this will be a step in the right direction to upsizing into family memories we won’t outgrow for years and years,” Ms Cantor, a mother-of-one, told the Bulletin when it hit the market.

LJ Hooker Palm Beach agents David Lonie and Mishy Canning sold the property in September but had remained tight-lipped on the sale price.
