Caixinha was sacked on Thursday after losing seven of his 26 games in charge of the club.
Gers chairman Dave King is now trying to find a suitable replacement to challenge Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
But Caixinha’s agent believes his client can not move on to pastures new until a settlement has been agreed.
“We are still trying to finalise the details with them and that is our priority for now,” Batista said.
“After that, we can analyse the offers that have come in both from clubs in Europe and elsewhere.
“We are not ruling anything out for now.”
The Portuguese manager is said to want an instant return to the game.
And with up to four Mexican sides interested in taking him to North America, his agent Batista is hoping a solution can be achieved shortly.
“Pedro has a great affection for Mexican football,” Batista added.
“He obviously worked there for a few years and did very well.
“He loves to work and get involved with a serious project and there are plenty of opportunities in Mexican football.”
